See What People Are Saying About Arthur...

“The performance was amazing! Arthur is a wonderful speaker, and the story brought tears to my eyes. Powerful!"

Melissa M.
Connell, WA

"The highest praise to the MLK, Jr. event I attended yesterday at the Richland Playhouse. The singer had an amazing voice and Arthur Broadys' historical accounting of the ““I have a Dream”” speech was both educational and moving. I was a rare pleasure!"

Linda L.
Benton City, Wa

"I was a ten-year-old white boy when Dr. King marched on Washington.  Many of my classmates were black and even then, I had a hard time wrapping my head around the obvious injustice that resulted by just the color of one's skin.  Years later, the public-school curriculum generally included Dr. King's speech, but as time went on, little context was provided.  We now have many generations who know not of the disparity of "equal justice" under the law for all.  Your well-crafted presentation puts the message into perspective.  Dr. King's legacy has affected us all regardless of race, color or creed.  Peace is indeed an ongoing process, and it is difficult (sadly), especially with today's oppression that we are witnessing at every turn.  I do not want to go back where a man's character is judged by their complexion and who they worship.Thank you for your message and Daphne Jackson's  amazing voice."

Kennewick, WA

“Great and meaningful presentation! My wife and I really enjoyed it. God Bless!”

"I know Scrapper already mentioned the visit by Emory & Henry students to Copey in early December but I just wanted to add that the visit by nine students and two faculty members was a HUGE success – the kids were so attentive and involved in the learning program our college students had arranged. The families of the children were all very appreciative, and the host families where our students stayed were remarkably hospitable. It was all wonderful – and the Friends of Copey make these things possible!"

Dr. Ed D.
Emory, Virginia

They were great! We were able to choose from their ceremony scripts, and edit them to make our own. Rev. Arthur was great, very professional.

Alisha

Perfect choice for our perfect day!

Our officiant helped us facilitate our perfect day and we were so happy with our decision to include Arthur at Uniquely, I Do. The communication was outstanding, he arrived early, was funny and professional! We could not have imagined anything better.

Rev Arthur came for our wedding and officiated for us recently. We truly appreciated his friendly demeanor, official bearing and folksy humor. He was warm and made us feel very comfortable with him guiding us through our wedding ceremony. I would heartily recommend him for anyone considering getting married! Thank you so much Rev Arthur!!

"Arthur and Daphne’s powerful delivery of the historical MLK, Jr.’s speech and the story surrounding it was absolutely enthralling. The presentation, along with the beautiful vocals, bring you back in time…giving you a stronger understanding of the origins of that historical moment."

Windy W.
Sunnyside, Wa

"We were incredibly impressed with your performance yesterday and Daphne's singing was absolutely beautiful. Your knowledge of Dr. King and his legacy is truly something that needs to be shared and kept alive today. We can't let the sacrifices of Dr. King and all those who fought for civil rights and equality vanish. It's just as important today as it was 60 years ago."

Karen S.
Kennewick, WA

“You had a magnificent event with around 280 audience members attending. I would say it was a remarkable success.”

Nick C.
Treasurer of Richland Players Theater

"It is an honor and privilege to support your work, Art. You continue to be an inspiration to me as you give yourself selflessly to your work with the Copey students. Watching the progress of the students these past 11 years (has it really been that long?) and your tireless work to support them reminds me that we all really *can* make a difference in the lives of others if we have a vision and we share it. And you do that so well. Blessings, brother!"

"Art – another moving email/blog!! Don’t want to seem like I’m blowing sunshine and rainbows here, but you are the one person I know personally who most exemplifies Dr. King’s ideals.…“content of character” is truly a worthwhile guiding ideal!! Thanks for your work and your life!!"

We had Revered Arthur officiant our wedding this past July. He was amazing! He communicated with me about the wedding script, was present and on time for the rehearsal and wedding. He was also very kind and patient with the craziness of the day. He also did a lasso ceremony for us and took into account all of my comments and concerns.

Maria

"This must be an exciting time - looking forward to more of the fun and satisfaction of stimulating presentations. Denise and I sure enjoyed the Saturday evening event."

Steve N.

"The 'Legacy' presentation yesterday by Arthur Broady was excellent! It was the second time I had seen "The Dream We Almost Never Heard" portion and it was better than the first! Also, the addition of the "Nobel Prize for Peace" portion was also fantastic. Very educational. Daphne Jackson's singing was fabulous and a great addition to the overall presentation."

Joanne  S.

"We enjoyed your presentation, Friday at the Richland Players Theater.  Having both presentations, “The Dream we almost Never Heard” and “Nobel Prize for Peace”, was a real plus.  You put on superb performances and Daphene added a lot for the two historical events."

The absolute best experience ❤️

Rev. Arthur was so sweet and funny. He was able to make our day so special. He was so understanding when we were running late. Me and my now husband consider this to the best experience we’ve had. We were beaming with happiness the whole time. I’m so happy I chose uniquely I do to help me tie the knot. Between three lovely people I was able to get information quickly and feel no doubt around the wedding. They went out of their way to triple check everything was perfect and the way I wanted. I can’t express how much I appreciate Uniquely I do. I would recommend them to anyone, I’m beyond happy with how everything happened. This was an elopement style wedding, and I only had two weeks to find an officiant. If you need something quick and reliable, then you’ve found them.

“Thank you for the awesome presentation yesterday. You did a fantastic job and truly brought Dr. King’s message back to life for me. Your presentation belongs on a national stage.”

"Art, you continue to perfect your Art! What a well done performance all around. The Venue was just right, the timing ideal, and the talent excellent. Best of all, the content, informing the audience of such important historical speeches and the background leading up to them was impactful. I feel the high schools in the Tri-Cities should be clamoring for you to come and give a presentation at an assembly to their students. "

"An excellent pairing of education and entertainment. A fitting Tribute. It is unfortunate that the message is as important now as when originally spoken. You did them justice. Excellent performance. Thank you."

"As always, You and the Copey Learning Center are creating a wonderful future for many of the next generation. Expanding Horizons through study and travel allows anyone to see through other’s eyes. That rounded out perspective sets the stage for connections throughout the world. We all are one. We count our blessings and thank you Scrapper. You are a walking treasure."

"Thank you, Arthur! Wishing you every success, health, and happiness in 2026 and all the years to come. You are a wonderful person and I am blessed to have met you."

I met Rev. Arthur at a wedding expo and knew he was the guy for us! He was so kind and thoughtful. He helped us every step of the way, which is exactly what we needed! He prepared a beautiful ceremony that had everyone in tears! I’d stop looking for an officiant and book with Rev. Arthur!

It was so great to see you at the Martin Luther King event at Richland Players. I found it to be inspiring, moving, and enlightening—an experience that did not end when the program concluded. In a time marked by political unrest and deeply polarizing issues in our country, hearing Dr. King’s words felt not only relevant, but critically necessary. His vision of justice, unity, and nonviolent love speaks with renewed urgency in the world we are living in today.
After hearing those words and melodies, I went home and purchased Behind the Dream by Clarence B. Jones, in order to gain deeper insight into Dr. King’s life, leadership, and enduring legacy.
Thank you for offering such a meaningful gift of remembrance, honoring the life and times of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and reminding us why his vision continues to matter.
